PostSubject: Experiment Wolf   Mon Jul 21, 2008 11:49 pm

I have started working on a new story. I hope you guys like! Smile

Experiment Wolf

Dr. Hanson stood over the man. He was young, around the age of sixteen. Dr. Hanson smiled, "What a great subject they have brought me." He said aloud. He reached over the body, which was alive but out cold, and turned the machine on. The lifeless body of a wolf lay on a table like the boy was. The machine's lights turned on and lasers caged the bodies. Dr. Hanson left the room and stood aside until a green light appeared on the small touchpad next to the door's latch. Dr. Hanson entered the room and studied the bodies. The wolf was gone but for its unneeded bone's. The boy however was still lying but patches of thick fur started to spread among his skin. "Experiment One" Dr. Hanson said "Is the start for a whole new study!" Dr. Hanson grabbed Experiment One and dragged it to a room in on the left side of the building. He slammed Experiment One into the cage and looked the door.

Three days later, Experiment One, died.

---

Dr. Hanson wasn't the only doctor on the premises. Five others, who learned about Dr. Hanson's discovery, decided to change their study to this new creature. Cages lined the one room on long walls. All empty. The research would start today. Dr. Gordon, the doctor chosen to fetch the human subjects, drove into town a mile away from the lab. Drake, a thug who worked for Dr. Gordon, had a truck carrying nine subjects. Dr. Gordon, knowing Drake was unaware of why he needed these humans, piad Drake two hundred dollars. He loaded his truck with the subjects and took off toward the lab.

When Dr. Gordon had reached the building, he stopped the truck at the far side of the builing. He pushed a button the opened the gate to a large garage. Five men stood among them, "Dr. Coleman" Dr. Gordon sttarted "You will take two of these humans to your lab for expirments." Dr. Gordon turned to Dr. Hanson who was leader. "I will appoint the rest" Dr. Hanson said. "Dr. Hill, you will take one subject, and Dr. Nelson, you will get one as well. I will take the rest" Dr. Hanson grabbed a crate that held two men. Alike the other Doctor's crates, held wolves that equalled the same amount of humans.

In his lab, Dr. Hanson set a normal aged man, around the age of Forty-two, on a table. The wolf was set on the opposite table. Dr. Hanson turned on the machine and lasers cage the two tables. Dr. Hanson left the room and shut the door behind him. Soon a green light appeared on the touchpad. Dr. Hanson entered the room and the wolf still lay, It's fur torn of and its paws bleeding. The remains of the man was only spills of blood and broken bones. Another Failure Dr. Hanson thought to himself. He cleared the tables and set anotherman on the table. He had blonde hair and a tanned face. He looked about seventeen. Dr. Hanson set the gray wolf on the other table similar to the one the boy lay on. He, once again, turned on the machine and red lasers caged the tables. dr. Hanson's feet scroffed as he walked out of the room and shut the door. Teh light on the touchpad stayed red for a long while, a yellow light appeared on the touch pad.

"What?" Dr. Hanson asked himself. He entered the room and saw that the wolf was gone. But the boy was left just the same. Dr. Hanson turned off the light, leaving the subject on the table. He needed rest in case this was a creature to become great!

My eyes opened and I looked into blackness. The only sign of light came from underneath a door. I stood up and put my hand forward. I fell onto a cold hard surface. This time, I put all my weight in my shoulders and put my hand forward again. The surface stayed sturdy. But something nudged at me. My body and bones felt different. I tried to stand up but fell each time. I trotted over to the door quite easily on all fours. I opened the door slightly and found lights crashing into my face.

I opened it wider and I blinked against the light. A man stood and started down at me. "A wolf!" He yelled. he rushed down the hall and swung open a door. Two other doctors saw me and one slammed his fist on an alarm system. Three men charged from a room next to me. Now all the dotors stood in the same room and looked at me. Dr. Coleman held a gun and Dr. Hill picked me up in a net. I tried to break free. I screamed. But not the high pitched scream. A howl rose from I mouth. What and where was I?

The doctor with the gun pointed it at me while the other took me into a room lines with cages on each wall. He threw me into a cage and slamed it shut. After lockign it he left. Leaving Dr. Coleman pointing a gun at me. "Dr. Coleman, leave your stance" Dr. Hanson said. He peered down into my cage. I managed to gather my words "Who are you?" I yelled at him. Dr. Hanson smirked. "I am Dr. Hanson, and you are one of my subjects. Experiment One to be exact. Lets see how long you last. He left the room with Dr. Coleman right behind him.

"No! Don't Leave! What am I?" I yelled as the door was left to swing back and forth. I looked down at my hands. Mounds of fur was layered on soft black paw pads. I realized I wasn't human anymore.. The howl from earlier meant that I wasn't human anymore. I was a Wolf! Then how come I could talk so easily? Blackness hit me then.

Dr. Hill pulled the wolf from the cage and held a bat in the other hand. He carried the experiment and took it down to the confrence room. Dr. Hanson, Dr. Gordon, Dr. Nathan, ands Dr. Hill settled into chairs after Dr. Hill set the wolf into a cage on the table. "Men, this is our best experiment yet. Other then the previous experiments, we hope it will keep alive for more then three days.

I awoke before Dr. Hill had set me into the cage. Die in three days? That wasn't good. Dr. Hill continued. "This creature must have companions and high source of food as soon as it gets back to the cages. I opened my mouth to speak but a fierce growl rolled out of my throat. Why was my speaking gone? Did I loose it? Impossible!

Dr. Nathan looked at me square in the eye. "He is healthy enough. He has lost his sources of speaking. That is a good sign of developingexperiments." Dr. Nathan stood up and walked over to a coffe maker. "If its ears to not turn black but tomorrow night, he will have to be put down." Dr. Nathan said.

"But how is that possible?" Dr. Coleman asked. "The source of his fur changing will be for years to come!" He pulled out a paper and started to read off the blueprints. Dr. Nathan looked at Dr. Gordon. "The speaking of this happening might be a great since he is and experiment. We do not know how this creature develops at all yet. Dr. Gordon started. I grew with anger as they reffered me to a "Creature", "Beast", and "Experiment". I longed to go back to my human days and return home.

Dr. Hanson placed down his already filled coffee cup. "This conference is over until anybody else has furthur information about that creature!" he stood up and walked out of the room's doorway. Dr. Coleman picked up my cage and took it the the familier room lined with cages. He opened the door and I jumped into mine. It had a nice wodden floor. Dr. Coleman locked the door. "Sorry kid, hope you like the rest of your life being a wolf!" With that he left the room.
